Entrepreneurs are individuals who take the commercial risk of starting up and running a business enterprise. The Canadian government promotes individuals with such business skills to immigrate to Canada. To be eligible, an Entrepreneur applicant must retain a minimum net worth of $300,000 Canadian dollars, business experience, and the intention to establish a business in Canada. The program exists under the condition that after immigrating to Canada the Entrepreneur must start a business in Canada as soon as possible.
