Individuals who are permanent residents of Canada are eligible to apply for a type of in – Canada application which is a Humanitarian and Compassionate application (H&C). This is a premeditated exemption application for individuals who cannot return to their native land and apply for immigration through the customary categories because to do so would cause them unusual and unjustified adversity. H&C applications are accommodating and practical for individuals who might not be eligible under the regular categories of the immigration and refugee system.
